This is all part of the viral marketing wave that most companies are using now to reach audiences that download shows without commercials, or have PVRs and fast-forward through them.

Speaking of which, do you know that you can get a lot of free stuff for having a blog? As long as you plug it ever now and then.

How inspiring Randy Pausch is! If you liked “The Last Lecture”, another fantastic memoir I just read and highly recommend is “My Stroke of Insight” by Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor. Her TEDTalk video (ted.com) has been seen as many times as The Last Lecture I think, and Oprah did 4 shows on her book, so there are a lot of similarities. In My Stroke of Insight, there’s a happy ending though. It’s an incredible story! I hear they’re making it into a movie.

hi corey, i am keen to follow the debate around Paul Rusesabagina. He is indeed a polarising figure. I have followed his speaking tour as part of my doctoral dissertation research. I think his remarks on the context in post-genocide Rwanda are grounded, reflective and overall accurate. I also think that Rwanda continues to be a battle-field of ideological warfare, and despite the erasure of ethnic identities, there is still very much a Hutu narrative and history and a Tutsi one. In the new order, the Twa are silenced (again!).
